As he was returning to shore, Gilly's paws unearthed an old beer bottle which popped up next to him. When he noticed the foreign object, which had not been there moments before, Gilly thought it was a danger and proceeded to get out of the water and bark viciously. The bobbing of the bottle only helped confirm for the pup that it was indeed a dangerous creature trying to attack him.
