A New Development in Music

Personally, I believe that our culture needs to be renovated from the inside out. In other words, we don't necessarily need more Christian artists as much as we need more artists who are Christian.

So on that front, a group of Traditionalist Catholics in the area have started a rock band and have promised yours truly a copy of the CD. They want me to preview the lyrics, presumably to proof for theological error.

I can imagine that this might be the wave of the future. As more traditionalist groups want to get their position out there, this might be a good media outlet for these groups. With no insult intended (which sounds so insincere), this leads me to three questions: 1. Do the lyrics all have to be in Latin and organized around chant modes V-VII? 2. Does wearing a maniple make playing power chords impossible? 3. Can the band face the audience or does everyone have to find east and face that way?

More on this when the CD arrives...
